I believe women can have it all.
I believe we are meant to have it all!
What does ‘having it all’ mean to you?
To me it means maintaining a 6 figure income or more every year doing work that I love that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. It means having the time, freedom and income to live a healthy, vibrant, fun filled lifestyle doing the things I love with the people I love. And it means having the time and income to take impeccable care of myself – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This is my definition. Yours could be similar or quite different.
Having it all means enjoying success on your terms
– without compromise.
However you define it, you are meant to have it. . . ALL of it.
My Uncompromising Women business arose from my personal experience in transforming myself and my lifestyle. Transforming my limiting beliefs about ‘life is hard work and struggle’ and ‘scarcity’ into a deep knowing that life is an adventure that we create and define on our own terms.
I didn’t always believe this was possible.
Like most of us, I grew up learning (and believing) that I simply couldn’t have it all; in the ‘real world’, we have to make compromises. Most of us have unconsciously absorbed the social meta-messages that life is a struggle and success requires endless hard work, effort, and sacrifice. If we dared to believe it was possible to have it all, easily and effortlessly, we were told that we were being a Pollyanna, or we are greedy and narcissistic to want it all and we were told to ‘grow up’ and ‘face reality’! And so we began a life of compromise. And in doing so, we gave up pieces of our dreams . . . our potential . . . and our joy.
In my case, (long story short), I was driven by my passion for business/professional and financial success, and my love and commitment to my family. But I put off my love of music, art and dance which bring me that deep soul level joy. Regardless, I kept my eyes on my goals and worked very, very, very hard to achieve them (a testament to my unconscious belief that life is hard work and struggle). I pulled this off for many years. I was a successful senior manager advancing up the corporate ladder. I started my own consulting practice. I loved and raised two incredible daughters. I was successful professionally, financially and as a mother. But I was run ragged, highly stressed, frustrated, exhausted and very sad. My health was beginning to suffer. I constantly struggled with weight. The emotional, mental and physical fatigue was very distressing. Eventually I crashed! I had made the biggest of all compromises for too long . . . my self-care and my health.
The greatest wealth is health. ~Virgil
I had to get a handle on this. It was painfully clear that how I was approaching my work and my life was unsustainable. I had to make some serious changes.
This ‘crisis’ took me down a path of significant learning and profound change that encompassed how I thought about and looked after all aspects of my life . . . my career/worklife and money, my relationships, and myself!
I have always been a ‘teacher’. (In fact, that was my first career incarnation). I can’t help sharing what I have learned. So I have made it my mission to serve and support smart savvy entrepreneurial and professional women who know they are meant for more and who want to “get unstuck,” and define success on their terms and live life with abundant energy, vitality, prosperity and joy.
My Six Step Uncompromising Women: Success on Your Terms System empowers women to take charge, step up and achieve success in their business or profession and experience the balanced lifestyle and extraordinary health and vitality that success on their terms entails.
I am not satisfied with imparting knowledge. I want to make a difference with my work. I want to see you experience success on your terms. My passion is supporting the women I work with through a transformational change that gives them the energy, vitality, strategies and tools to make ‘having it all’ a joyful and sustainable way of life. This is my ‘absorbing errand’, (a term coined by author Henry James that so resonates with me).
If you connect with what I am talking about and know deep down in your heart of hearts, that you can have it all but you’re struggling with making this happen, I invite you to take me up on my offer of a complimentary Uncompromising Woman’s Strategy Session. Let’s talk. I want to encourage you to take action now. Make a commitment to yourself . . . be uncompromising!
